Pashova house was built in 1815. It is the historical museum now. The ground floor is built of stone. The house consists of 8 rooms. On the ground floor of the building the exhibits presenting winemaking in Melnik are stored. Different museum pieces showing Melnik's way of life during Renaissance period are exhibited there. There are many photos of houses, barrels and other things connected with wine making. The house has its own stamp. You can visit museum every day from 9:00 a.m. to 05:00 p.m. (except lunch break from 12:00 p.m to 01:00 p.m.)
Melnik's local specialties are sheep yoghurt with figs and cake with cheese called "banitsa".
